Applications for 4K First Steps of South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA FIRST STEPS TO SCHOOL READINESS is a comprehensive, results-oriented initiative for improving early childhood development. First Steps exists to develop, promote, and assist the efforts of agencies, private providers, and public and private organizations and entities, at the state level and the community level, to collaborate and cooperate in order to focus and intensify services, assure the most efficient use of all available resources, and eliminate duplication of efforts to serve the needs of South Carolina’s young children and their families.

We are happy to announce that we are beginning to accept applications for the 4K First Steps of South Carolina Pre-K4 program for the 2021-2022 School Year, here at Saint Peter’s Catholic School.

This program applies to families with children in Pre-K4 only, who meet the Family Income Eligibility Guidelines. If your application is approved, the program will provide the tuition funding for your child to attend Saint Peter’s Catholic School’s 4-year-old program.

All First Steps-funded students shall be offered breakfast and a snack meeting the USDA daily nutritional requirement. See the attached flyer to apply online!
