Dear Parents, Families, and Friends,

We hope that you are well and have had a wonderful, healthy, happy summer!

Our first day of the 2025-2026 school year is this Wednesday, August 13th, (1/2 day, no aftercare), and we are so excited to see all your sweet faces.

Teachers are working hard to get their amazing classrooms set up and organized for your students and we are looking forward to a school year filled with love and learning.

Please be aware that we have changed our water bottle policy for this school year. Our wonderful PTO has supplied each student with a water bottle, labeled with your child’s name.

We are no longer allowing “Stanleys” or other types of water bottles in the classroom, as they are very distracting, resulting in spillage, and excessive trips to the restroom, throughout the day.

The water bottle that your child has been given can be stored in the lunchbox, or teachers will store them on the classroom counters. The water bottle will come home each day to be washed and then returned the following day, just like your student’s red Saint Folder, and/or planner, (also known as the “agenda”).

If your child misplaces the given water bottle, a water bottle small enough to fit into a lunchbox will be an acceptable alternative.

Enjoy these last few days!

Thank you and God bless,

Ann M Feltner, Principal

Kevin Fanter, Co-principal

Prayer for the New School Year

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the gift of our families. Thank you for the gift of love, of life, and of community. Lord, we trust you with everything in our lives and our most precious gifts; our children and our families.

As we prepare for the school year ahead, we pray for our children as they prepare for another year of learning. We pray that in all that they do they will be guided by you and by your Holy Church. We pray for our schools, for school administrators, for all who work behind the scenes, and for the wonderful ways You work to bring everything together for another year of school.

We also lift prayers for all parents, educators, and students. We pray that all parents become more aware and more involved in the lives of the children at school, at home, and in the community.

We lift prayers for safety for all children, may they feel safe and secure, and protected from all harm.

We pray for decision makers within our communities that they will always keep in mind the welfare of families and of children.

Lord, you love families more than we can imagine. You wish for our children to be blessed, protected, educated, and cared for. We pray that through the intercession of your precious Mother, Mary, that this upcoming school year is fruitful, productive, and most of all blessed by you and your teachings.

We ask this in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen
