Prayer for the End of the School Year

God of wisdom,

We thank You for all the gifts You have given us throughout this school year. We praise You for giving us life, for saving us in Christ and for choosing us to be Your people.

As we come to the end of this school year, we voice our gratitude for the good things You have done in us, and we praise You for all who have shared in the work of this school. We ask You to bless them in Your love and give them refreshment and peace.

We praise You, God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Saint Peter’s Families and Friends,

It is so hard to believe that another school year has ended! I am so grateful to all of you for your support, devotion, and love for Saint Peter’s Catholic School. We had a fantastic school year filled with lots of love and learning.

Thank you for your unfailing generosity and assistance throughout this school year; we have the most wonderful families in this school community.

Thank you to our dedicated and generous PTO who worked so hard fund-raising and then supporting our programs with those funds. You all did so much to enhance our school, and we appreciate you all!

We are so thankful you that you have chosen Saint Peter’s Catholic School for your children, they are truly loved here!

As an end-of-the-year gift for our students, we have given them a blessed Miraculous Medal with a prayer card explaining the history and purpose of the medal. Our children need the protection of our Blessed Mother now more than ever. (Teacher Tip: If not wearing on a chain, use a safety pin to fasten the medal on the inside of the backpack).

“The medals are a reminder of salvation through Jesus Christ and a visual sign of a wearer’s devotion to Mary and Jesus They can help children remember their faith and the Virgin Mary’s presence.

Keeping the image of the Blessed Mother near is one of the best ways to remember to think of her and pray to her”. For more information: https://miraculousmedal.org/welcome/the-miracle-of-the-miraculous-medal/

I pray that you all have a healthy, happy, and safe summer with your families and friends!

Thank you and God bless,
