The Diocese of Charleston has created a Diocesan Task Force on Reopening the Catholic Schools, and is meeting June 4th. The task force will consider many factors when developing the plan to ensure the continuation of the faith formation and academic excellence of our schools in a safe and healthy environment. We will take into consideration what the public schools in the state are doing, but also state and national guidelines. Because all of the schools in the diocese are different, schools are to implement the guidelines based upon their size, capacity and enrollment. Dates for reopening are also part of the points to be determined.
