Dear Saint Peter’s Families and Friends,

A prayer for Thanksgiving:

Father in Heaven, Creator of all and source of all goodness and love, please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving thanks.

Thank you for all the graces and blessings. You have bestowed upon us, spiritual and temporal: our faith and religious heritage. Our food and shelter, our health, the love we have for one another, our family, and friends.

Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, please grant us continued graces and blessing throughout the coming year.

This we ask in the Name of Jesus, Your Son, and our Lord, Amen.

I would like to take this opportunity to reflect upon the many things for which we are thankful. First and foremost, we are thankful for our loving Creator who blesses us so abundantly each day. We are thankful for Jesus; He is the reason we are here!

We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn; through them we are reminded daily of what is truly important.

We are thankful for the support of parents in creating an exceptional partnership for our students.

We are thankful for Fr. Andrew, our teachers, assistants, support staff, and our generous parishioners who care so much about Saint Peter’s Catholic School and its students. We are thankful for our volunteers who enthusiastically contribute so much to our school.

We are especially grateful for the kindness of those in the parish who so generously support our school through the Adopt-A-Student program, and in many other ways.

Most importantly, we are thankful for parents because you are sharing your precious children with us.

I would like to wish all of you and your families a happy, healthy, and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday!

God bless,

Ann M Feltner
