Dear Saint Peter’s Families and Friends,
Today, Friday, October 18, the Church celebrates St. Luke, a disciple of St. Paul and a physician, who wrote the longest of the three synoptic Gospels as well as the Acts of the Apostles. Tradition holds that Luke knew the Blessed Mother Mary very well, as evidenced by his detailed knowledge of Christ’s infancy and childhood. He was a native of Antioch, the city where “they were first called Christians,” and may have been an early Gentile convert. (The Loop from CatholicVote).

Thank you to Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Meredith for a fantastic Color Run Day! Students, teachers, and parents thoroughly enjoyed this super fun Booster Club fundraiser! Thank you to all parents who volunteered!
Our school has been praying the Rosary of Tuesdays in October, and we will pray the Rosary for Life together next Tuesday morning in the Walsh-Palmetto Room (WPR). Our students have created beautiful pro-life posters and will process with them over to the WPR. Please feel free to join us, we will gather around 8:15 a.m.
Please continue to pray for the love, support, and Respect for Life in this month of October, and every month. Pray especially for those who are actively defending life and are being persecuted for their work.
As Catholic Christians we are called to defend and protect all human life from conception until natural death. We are living in very difficult and confusing times, but God will prevail, and he hears our prayers. Let us continue to practice the Cardinal Virtues of Faith, Hope, and Love, trusting in Jesus through all things.
Thank you for sharing your precious children with us!
