Prayer for Students Returning to School

O Lord of wisdom and light,
Bless the steps of every student as they cross the threshold of learning once more. Let their minds be open to truth, their hearts steady in kindness, and their hands ready for good works. Guard them from fear and harm, and wrap them in the shelter of Your peace.

When challenges rise like storms, be their calm and guiding star. Grant them curiosity that hungers for understanding, patience to grow through mistakes, and courage to stand for what is right.

Bless their teachers with insight and compassion, their classmates with respect and friendship, and their days with moments of joy. May each lesson learned be a seed of wisdom planted deep, bearing fruit in the seasons to come.

Amen.

Welcome Back!

We are so excited for this school year! Just two weeks into the year, it has been wonderful to see the joy and excitement throughout our community. From our new families to our returning families, everyone is helping make this year a great success. You are making the St. Peter’s community stronger every day!

We have already had the opportunity to celebrate Mass together twice on Thursdays. It has been a joy to watch our students actively participate in the celebration. As a reminder, every Thursday at 8:30 a.m., students in Kindergarten through 6th grade attend Mass, and all family members are welcome to join us.

This coming Wednesday, our wonderful Knights of Columbus will be providing breakfast for the entire school. We are grateful for their generosity and support.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work through our car line procedures. The process continues to improve, and it would not be possible without the cooperation of our staff and families. Please keep the following reminders in mind:

  • Please remain in your vehicle. A staff member will assist your child with loading and unloading.
  • Do not pass other vehicles in the car line. Please remain in a single line throughout the parking lot.
  • To help expedite morning drop-off, please have your child unbuckled before pulling up to the unloading area.
  • If you need to buckle your child after pickup, please pull around to the columbarium so the line can continue moving.

We appreciate everyone’s support in helping our car line run safely and efficiently.

As we move forward through the school year, thank you for the trust and support you give our school each day. Please continue to maintain open communication with the school and your child’s teachers so that, together, we can ensure a successful and rewarding year for every student.

GO CARDINALS!
